A vision brought to life

It all began in 1985, when Hans-Peter Porsche, grandson of the legendary automotive founder, partnered with Federico Knuchel to pursue a dream: to build a golf course that would enhance, not alter, Mallorca’s natural beauty. In 2019, the course underwent a complete renovation, upgrading greens, bunkers, and irrigation systems. It also added Toptracer technology at the driving range, giving players access to cutting-edge training experiences that rival top international facilities.

Alcanada’s high standards have made it a proud host of the European Challenge Tour Grand Final in 2019, 2022, and 2024. In the latest edition, Norwegian player Kristoffer Reitan claimed victory, while Spain’s Ángel Ayora secured promotion to the DP World Tour.
