Pollença Wine Fair 2026: A Weekend to Discover the Best Wines of Mallorca

Pollença Wine Fair 2026: A Weekend to Discover the Best Wines of Mallorca

Every spring, Pollença becomes one of Mallorca’s most attractive meeting points for wine lovers. And this year will be no exception. The Pollença Wine Fair 2026 will take place on 25 and 26 April at the beautiful Sant Domingo Cloister, once again bringing together tradition, local produce and a unique experience for both residents and visitors.

Over the course of two days, visitors will have the chance to discover, taste and enjoy a wide variety of wines from Mallorca, in an event that has become one of the most charming food and wine highlights in the north of the island.

A Must-Visit Event for Wine Lovers in Pollença

The Pollença Wine Fair is much more than just a place to taste wine. It is an opportunity to experience Mallorca’s wine culture up close, meet local producers, discover new labels and enjoy a very special atmosphere in the heart of one of the island’s most beautiful towns.

This year’s edition will feature 37 wineries from Mallorca, several of them taking part for the first time, representing DO Binissalem, DO Pla i Llevant and IGP Vi de la Terra Mallorca.

In total, visitors will be able to enjoy around 250 different wines throughout the weekend, making this event a true celebration of Mallorcan wine and local craftsmanship.

Dates, Opening Hours and Ticket Price

The official opening of the fair will take place on Saturday 25 April at 10:00 am.

A simple but very appealing formula: taste, discover and take home your favourite bottles from the event.

“Pollença Beats with Wine”

This year’s slogan is “Pollença batega amb el Vi”, which can be understood as “Pollença beats with wine”.

It perfectly captures the spirit of the event. During that weekend, wine becomes one of the town’s main protagonists. The atmosphere, the local energy and the activity around the fair all reflect how deeply connected Pollença is to its traditions, its culture and its way of life.

More Than Just a Wine Fair

One of the biggest attractions of the Pollença Wine Fair is the chance to speak directly with the people behind the wine.

That makes the experience much richer and more personal. It is not only about tasting a glass of wine, but also about understanding the story behind it, learning about grape varieties, discovering winemaking processes and finding labels that may surprise even experienced wine lovers.

For the wineries themselves, the fair is also a valuable opportunity to present new vintages, share their philosophy and connect with an audience that increasingly appreciates authenticity, local production and quality.

Activities Before and During the Fair

As in previous years, the event will include more than just wine tasting. A number of complementary activities will also take place before and during the fair, adding even more value to the overall experience.

Wine Talk Before the Fair

On Wednesday 22 April at 7:30 pm, the Reial Club Nàutic in Port de Pollença will host a talk entitled:

“The Recovery of Malvasia”

The talk will be given by Hipólito Medrano, professor at the University of the Balearic Islands and owner of Nacra Winery.

Welcome Event

On Friday 24 April at 8:00 pm, the outdoor area of the Sant Domingo Cloister will host the fair’s welcome event.

The evening will include:

  • a traditional Mallorcan improvised verse recital

  • a festive atmosphere

  • live music

Guided Wine Tastings

Throughout both days of the fair, visitors will also be able to join guided wine tastings in a dedicated tasting area outside the cloister.

Advance booking will be required through the event organisers. These tastings are usually one of the most appreciated parts of the programme for those who want a more in-depth and curated wine experience.

A Lifestyle Event That Reflects the Essence of Pollença

Events like the Pollença Wine Fair help explain why Pollença is so much more than just a beautiful destination in Mallorca.

This is a place where people enjoy not only the scenery, the architecture and the proximity to both sea and mountains, but also a way of life rooted in tradition, gastronomy, culture and authenticity.

The fair reflects exactly that: an active community, a distinctive local identity and a quality of life that continues to attract both visitors and people dreaming of living here.

Conclusion

The Pollença Wine Fair 2026 will once again bring together the very best of Mallorcan wine over two unforgettable days in a truly unique setting. With 37 participating wineries, around 250 wines to taste and a range of complementary activities, it promises to be one of the most special spring events in Mallorca.

If you enjoy wine, local food culture and elegant Mediterranean experiences, this is definitely a weekend worth saving in your calendar.
